I'm not good with post titles...

We officially have grass again!  We still have to wait 3+ weeks to be on it, but it looks soo much better!  We do still have quite a bit of work to do (like painting the house and cleaning up the backyard), but it's progress at least!  Here are before and after photos:

11 Months Old!

Just one month left until we get to celebrate Jax's first birthday.  I can't wait!  I am really tempted to share all of my ideas and what's coming together so far, but that'd just ruin the surprise!  ;)  Hopefully it turns out as great as I think it will. 

This morning I tried to get his 11 month photos taken (on time, for once!).  Well, he is very uncooperative these days; especially now that he can get around so easily.  So, here they are.  I think I'm just going to have to settle for what I can get now.

As far as an update, these last few weeks have been crazy busy.  [Don't I always say that?]  Randy, my dad and a friend of Randy's installed the sprinkler system last weekend.  It literally took all day Saturday and Sunday, and they still didn't finish.  So today, Randy has been working on finishing up, which includes flushing it out, putting on the sprinkler heads and adjusting them all, and then burying all of the lines.  I feel awful he's stuck doing it all; I wish I was more help, but someone needs to hang out with Jax.  Next Saturday, all 2400 square feet of our sod is being delivered, and we cannot wait.  Jax and I have missed being able to sit outside on a daily basis. 

So, while Randy has been doing yard work today, Jax and I spent most of the morning taking pictures.  Yes, the ones you see above, but I also took photos for his birthday invitation.  I'm really happy with how they turned out and can't wait to get the invitation out.

Well, I do have more pictures from the last couple of weeks, but I haven't had the chance to upload and edit any of them.  I'll probably post another blog later this weekend/week, but I'm going to leave you with this today.  I hope all of you are doing well!
